I have used many Epson printers, and the ET-3850 is one of them. This printer comes with several advanced features and multiple connectivity options. Its simple control panel also allows users to easily connect the printer to other devices and Wi-Fi routers.

However, many new users struggle with the setup process because they are unfamiliar with the complete procedure. Several people have also told me they faced errors during setup. To help you avoid these issues and complete your Epson ET-3850 printer setup successfully, I’m going to walk you through the full process step-by-step. So, let’s dive right in!

Steps to Connect Epson ET-3850 Printer to Wi-Fi

To establish the connection between your printer and Wi-Fi router, you can follow the given procedure.

  • First, you need to press the Home button on your Epson ET-3850 printer.

  • Next, select the Wi-Fi icon and press OK. A new screen will appear.

  • Then, you need to choose the Wi-Fi (Recommended) option.

  • Select the Start Setup or Change Settings option.

  • After that, go to the Wi-Fi Setup Wizard option.

  • Choose the name of your wireless network and press the OK key, or press the + button and select Enter Manually to enter the name manually. Utilize the displayed keypad to enter your network name, then press the OK button. (Your network name and password are case-sensitive, so ensure you enter uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters correctly.)

  • Now, you need to tap on OK to type your network password using the on-screen keypad and select OK.

  • You should verify the displayed network settings and select Start Setup to save them.

  • Next, you need to follow either of the steps accordingly.

  • Choose the exit option if the setup process is successful.

  • If the connection process is not complete, choose the Print Check Report to print a network setup report or select Re-enter to re-enter your network name and password.

  • Also, press the Home button to exit. The Wi-Fi icon indicates your wireless connection status. If your printer is not connected to the network, you may have chosen the wrong network name or entered the password inaccurately. If the issue persists, repeat the steps to try again.

Note: While printing from your computer, you need to make sure you have installed the network software as shown on the Start Here sheet.
